What should I know before speaking with a builder?

You do not need completed plans, finance approval, or all the answers before speaking with a builder. Many clients come to us at the early idea stage with only a block, an existing home, a rough budget, inspiration photos, or a general vision. An initial conversation helps turn those early ideas into a clearer pathway by looking at your site, budget range, timing, design goals and the practical next steps. There is no obligation to have everything finalised before reaching out.

Is it better to knock down and rebuild or renovate?

For many homeowners, a knockdown rebuild can provide better long-term value than renovating, especially when the existing home has an outdated layout, ageing services, poor energy performance or major structural limitations. A knockdown rebuild allows you to stay in the location you already like while starting fresh with a new home designed around your lifestyle, current building standards and future needs. How do house and land packages work?

A house and land package combines a block of land with a new home build pathway. Is there a fixed price contract?

Is there a warranty on my new home?
